Eliot Porter

Certain Passages Portfolio

Eliot Porter (1901-1990) was one of the great landscape/nature photographers of the 20th century. He has been called "the color Ansel Adams."  His work is in most of the great museum photography collections, and here is his Wikipedia biography. Below is one of the several portfolios he produced, at an excellent price.

Published by Daniel Wolf Press, 1989, it consists of 8 signed dye transfer prints, and this portfolio is #128/300. Images sizes are all 16 x 12½ inches, mounted to 24 x 20 inch ragboard. Prints are still in the original portfolio box, and all has been in climate-controlled storage. Price: $10,000, mint condition (shipping extra).

(These prints are sold only as an entire set. Upon request I can search my sources for individual prints, but often they are not avaiable on the market.)
